The Mulberry Wing
The weather in these parts has not been conducive for moth nights. It seems the only time the humidity has gotten anywhere near the desired level, it's rained. So I've dipped into the files for this week's MOW. This Black-etched Prominent (Cerura scitiscripta) was photographed at Florida's Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge on January 15. It should occur in the northeast, as well, so it's allowed on this web site.
