The
family Notodontidae, or prominents, figured very
prominently in the moth roster at the James Ramsay Hunt
Sanctuary the weekend of May 22-23, so the choice of
family to furnish the MOW was clear. However, I'm going
to go back to May 15 for the species that I want to use.
This is Clostera apicalis, which you can see is easily identified
by a prominent figure. |
