It
finally looks as though it will stay warm enough to keep
moths out on a consistent basis. That means it's time to
resume the Moth of the Week. We begin with a day flying
moth that was enjoyed by several people at Hook Mt.,
Rockland county April 20. This is an Eight-spotted
Forester (Alypia octomaculata), of the
Noctuid subfamily Agaristinae. |
