Underwings have been harder to come by at the James Ramsay Hunt Sanctuary (Westchester co.) than at my other survey sites. If that's the way it's going to be, something different would make me happy. So this Yellow-banded Underwing (Catocala cerogama) was one of the highlights of August 3 (a night which produced a fresh Luna Moth).
