April 10 was Jamaica Bay's turn for opening night.
That's not reason for major excitement -- it's a really
slow spot in spring. But I take this survey seriously
and someone once told me "negative data is data
too". Be that as it may, there were still a couple
of new additions to the Refuge list, including Bold-based
Zale (Zale lunifera) of the
Noctuid subfamily Catocalinae. |
