The goldenrods of the Oakland Lake Wildflower Meadow are shown in approximate
order of peak flowering. It starts with Grass-leaved as soon as late July and
continues until Seaside reaches its full glory in October. Shown on this page
are samples of the eight species, with focus on the flowers and leaves. It
should be noted that all are variable and differences will be noted in features
such as inflorescence shape, leaf shape and texture, and stem color.
