The Mulberry Wing
Welcome back for another season. I decided that I would kick things off at the beginning of April, regardless of how the weather was shaping up in the northeast. That was because I had some things from south Florida that I could fall back on, if need be. Well, I have gotten a few moths locally so far. But when I found this Spanish Moth (Xanthopastis timais) in Everglades National Park March 6, I knew had to use it as a Moth of the Week. And hey, it is a possibility in New York.
