I feel autumn creeping in. That's good and bad. It's
bad because humid and optimal moth nights become fewer,
as has been the case for the last week. So I have to go
back to the August 30 Floyd Bennet Field outing for an
MOW, which happens to be a taste of the good that autumn
brings. September and October are prime time for the
Noctuinae. Sneaking out a couple of days early was this Subgothic
Dart (Feltia subgothica). |
